About Canadian Musicians Co-operative

The Canadian Musicians Co-operative is a not-for-profit arts service organization dedicated to assisting new generation and other independent artists build sustainable careers intersecting the music industry in the 21st Century.

Based in Barrie, Ontario, we are expanding our footprint across Canada with plans to hire new generation artists ages 16 - 30 from Coast to Coast. We are also seeking applicants to work in Administration, Content Creation and Information Technology.

Positions are funded by the Government of Canada and other grant funding sources, so there are conditions of employment that may exclude some applicants based on criteria that are beyond our control.

Please note that you only need to apply for ONE position with our organization. In the application process you can indicate if there are other positions you want to be considered for, and our admin team will process that request if your application supports this. (The video upload is a great place to tell us about your versatility!)

Please make sure you read the information on our website, including the Summer Program FAQ's so your application is complete. We do not assess incomplete applications.

Emails from this process may come from a "Get Hired" account - and may be delivered to your SPAM folder, so be sure to check there. If you have questions that are not already covered in the FAQ's, please email jobs@canadianmusicians.coop
